D is for…
DOGS – I am a dog person. I much prefer dogs to cats. We have two dogs, a yellow labrador named Montana, or Monty for short + a black labrador named Dakota, or Koty for short. I love them as much as I love my kids. They were my first babies. {I remember when I did the above illustration I was trying to make it look like Monty.}
DAUGHTER – I'm #2 in a series of 4. My parent's have four daughters, and one son. I'm the second oldest. I love coming from a big family + having friends for life :) I always wanted to have a big family of my own too, but I've come to love the idea of a family of four :) {who can afford five kids today!}
DAVIS – my daughter, my love. What more can I say that I haven't said in my other posts? She slays me. {in the very best way}
DAFFODILS – I'm a sucker for flowers, and when daffodils come out in Feb/March I love to buy huge amounts and put them throughout the house. They last a long time, are inexpensive + remind me Spring is just around the corner.
DESIGNER – I'm a Graphic Designer and absolutely love it. I feel so fortunate that I wake up in the morning excited + looking forward to the work that awaits me. How great is that?
DIAMONDS – I have come to realize that the saying, "diamonds are a girl's best friend" really is true :)
