ta..da! Our new steps :)
These photos are really for family who can't see the big transformation for awhile. (like my sister michelle, who's in New Orleans...hi michelle!) Everyone else is probably saying... "stairs...who cares about your stairs"
But believe me, if you saw my steps prior, you'd be dancing right next to me. They are fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better way to start the year.
We now have to figure out all the plantings. The landscaper will draw up some pretty plans I'm sure. I wish it weren't winter (i know, we have three more months of this, but I can still wish :) Oh the Springtime is going to look so lovely. I'm going to head out to Smith & Hawkins tomorrow to see if they have any pretty outside planters. You can't really see from this photo, but the stone wall they built lines up perfectly with the stone foundation. Sweet.
What we love most about the landing + the stone wall – they are in scale and are perfect with the styling of our house. If you didn't know better, you'd think they were always there, not a recent addition. So kudos to the landscaper for such good work.
