:: projects around the house ::

Believe it or not, I did a lot of little projects around the house last October-December. I mentioned the new drapes I made for my bedroom, but the lighting has been really bad lately, so snapping a photo hasn't been easy. But you'll see I recovered my little step stool with some of the black and white zebra fabric I bought last September (at 50% off!) I'm going to paint the base black. I think it will look better that way. I also finished my crazy pillow design. I backed it up with the same black and white zebra fabric. Made some more pillows out of the left over fabric from my curtains as well. I really love the way my bedroom is looking. It's mainly white and black with the walls a very soft light blue.

I finally framed some of my ABC illustrations for the kid's bathroom. The frames my mum gave me awhile back and I just resized the illustrations to fit. Have to same I'm happy with them. I've been thinking of offering my illustrations as prints in my Etsy store. I've had a lot of inquires so I just might get my butt in gear and do it :)
